Competition Rules for 2018

  • Byes are worth zero points.
  • 9 team competitions – not all teams play each other twice and some teams will received 1 bye, others will receive 2 byes, it is the luck of the draw.
  • MiniRoos – there is unlimited borrowing of players across teams and clubs. This is non-competitive football and it is all about letting the girls play.

 

  • Junior Upgrade rules – no players in a division 1 team can be upgraded to help a division 2 team, regardless of whether they are playing up age groups.
  • U12/1’s can borrow from MiniRoos teams and can play up in U13/1’s, U14/1’s, U15/1’s, U16/1’s & U18/1’s as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U13/1’s can borrow from MiniRoos & U12/1 teams and can play up in U14/1’s, U15/1’s, U16/1’s & U18/1’s as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U14/1’s can borrow from U12/1, U13/1 teams and can play up in U15/1’s, U16/1’s & U18/1’s as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U14/2’s cannot borrow from any teams and can play up in U14/1’s, U15/1’s, U16/1’s & U18/1’s as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U15/1’s can borrow from U12/1, U13/1, U14/1 teams and can play up in U16/1’s & U18/1’s as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U16/1’s can borrow from U12/1, U13/1, U14/1, U15/1 teams and can play up in U18/1’s & AA1-AA4 as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U16/2’s can borrow from U14/2’s and can play up in U16/1’s, U18/1’s & AA1-AA7 as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability.
  • U18/1’s can borrow from U12/1, U13/1, U14/1, U15/1, U16/1 teams and can play up in AA1-AA4 as long as parent & coach agree that there is no danger to player due to size or ability. The exception to this rule is Ryde Panthers U18/2, WPHC U17/3, WRR U18/3 who are playing in U18/1’s but nominated lower, will be able to play in AA1-AA7 as an upgrade if required.

 

  • All Age Upgrade rules
  • AA1 can borrow from AA2-AA7, U16/1, U16/2 & U18/1 & O30/2’s and can’t play anywhere else.
  • AA2 can borrow from AA3-AA7, U16/1, U16/2 & U18/1 & O30/2’s and can play in AA1 as an upgrade.
  • AA3 can borrow from AA4-AA7, U16/1, U16/2 & U18/1, O30/1’s O30/2’s and can play in AA1-AA2 as an upgrade & O30/1’s if they are over 30.
  • AA4 can borrow from AA5-AA7, U16/1, U16/2 & U18/1 & O30/2’s and can play in AA1-AA3 as an upgrade & O30/1’s if they are over 30.
  • AA5 can borrow from AA6-AA7,  U16/2, O30/2’s plus Ryde Panthers U18/2, WPHC U17/3, WRR U18/3 and can play as an upgrade in AA1-AA4, O30/1’s and O30/2’s if they are over 30.
  • AA6 can borrow from AA7, U16/2, O30/2’s plus Ryde Panthers U18/2, WPHC U17/3, WRR U18/3 and can play as an upgrade in AA1-AA5, O30/1’s and O30/2’s if they are over 30.
  • AA7 can borrow from U16/2, O30/2’s plus Ryde Panthers U18/2, WPHC U17/3, WRR U18/3 and can play as an upgrade in AA1-AA6, O30/1’s and O30/2’s if they are over 30.

  • O30/1’s – can borrow from AA3 to AA7, but player must be over 30. O30/1 players can play in AA1, AA2, AA3.
  • O30/2’s – can borrow from AA5 to AA7, but player must be over 30. O30/2 players can play in AA1-AA7.
